Project: Magazine

This was the first project we did on the course at the start of the college year.This was very "Photography" orientated and the project was to create a magazine cover, editorial page and advert for your chosen business and audience. So I chose to do a Airline magazine called "Altitude". This project opened my eyes to Photoshop and what you can do with it, I have used Photoshop ever since.

The front cover

This is the front cover I created for my magazine, which I am happy with but I can see a number of improvements which could be made. But this was done when I used Photoshop for the first time; I think I did pretty well at the time.

The editorial page

This is my editorial page of my magazine. I can't really say much about this as I did this last year (September 2013) and my knowledge of Photoshop was minimal. 

The advert

Overall I am happy with my work, I can see improvements that can be made now which I wasn't aware of before. But I am moving forward with other projects now so I need to focus on them. I did pass the project with these images and there are more projects to come to broaden my skills and understanding of Photoshop as well as other programs and techniques.
